School Secretary
Location: Tower School, Wayne, NE (ESU 1)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
(school year & limited summer school)
Position Overview:
ESU1 is currently seeking an organized, tech-savvy, qualified School Secretary who is passionate about supporting student success at Tower School in Wayne. This is a full-time, 10-month position offering competitive wages and benefits. Starting pay is $20/hour and may vary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaison for the school lunch program, ensuring smooth operation and compliance
* Monitor and verify staff timesheets and leave requests for accuracy
* Track and maintain accurate records of student start and end dates, ensuring data consistency
* Assist with general office tasks as needed to support the school’s day-to-day operations
Qualifications:
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Google Suite preferred
* Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
* A team-player, positive attitude with strong communication skills
