2026-2027 CDA Training Series
This in-person training explores what it means to be a professional in the field of early childhood education. Participants will examine the qualities of effective early childhood educators, the importance of ethical behavior, and the role of the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct in guiding professional decision-making. The session also highlights the value of earning a CDA Credential as a pathway to professionalism and encourages participants to reflect on their own professional goals, responsibilities, and commitment to ongoing growth within the field.
Training Objectives:
Identify key qualities and responsibilities of an effective early childhood professional.
Develop knowledge of professional ethical standards, including the core principles of the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct, and explore how to apply them in everyday decisions and interactions.
Explain how earning the CDA Credential supports ongoing professional growth and understand the requirements and structure of the CDA training program.
