Outcomes of the day: Equip your school team with compliant frameworks, actionable criteria, and operational strategies to support student equity:
Understand Section 504 Support. Grasp what Section 504 is and how it protects student pathways within General Education.
Master Qualification Determinations. Learn exactly how to evaluate if a student qualifies for a structured accommodation plan.
Identify Evaluation Triggers. Recognize precisely when a formal referral, review, or testing window is necessary.
Draft Clear, Effective Accommodations. Write targeted accommodations tailored specifically to medical, physical, or academic barriers.
Implement, Monitor, & Review. Confidently launch, log fidelity, and conduct structured annual reviews for student plans.
Suggested Team: Due to the collaborative nature of Section 504 compliance, districts are strongly encouraged to bring core members: 504 Coordinator, Administrator, School Nurse, School Psychologist, SAT Coordinator.
District Lunch Included. Lunch & Refreshments Provided On-Site. Collaborate with neighboring districts during a catered break.
