 ompleted prior to attending this training.\n\nCPI training provides verbal
  and physical intervention techniques to allow staff to recognize and addr
 ess escalating behaviors.  The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® program foc
 uses on ways to avoid the necessity to restrain students by understanding 
 behavior\, learning to respond appropriately\, reinforcing prevention tech
 niques\, and practicing the principles of nonharmful physical intervention
 .  \n***Due to the physical demands of this course\, please wear closed-to
 ed shoes and comfortable clothing. \n\n$30 ~ NO SHOW/CANCELLATION FEE
