 able to discuss why it is important to be intentional about teaching socia
 l emotional skills. \n3. Participants will be introduced to the idea of in
 dividualizing instruction for different ages and abilities. \n4. Participa
 nts will identify strategies for supporting the development of friendship 
 skills. \n5. Participants understand the importance of providing opportuni
 ties for children to begin to understand their own\, as well as others’ em
 otions (empathy). \n6. Participants will make a plan for implementing stra
 tegies they learned in the training.
