Coop purchaseing is a statewide cooperative that allows participating schools to purchase merchandise, software, equipment, vehicles, etc., at reduced rates.

As a participating school, the Nebraska ESU Cooperative Purchasing Application Suite (NECPAS) allows you, through Internet access to:

• examine and print out catalogs available for ordering
• order items for your school
• have your school's orders automatically available to ESU #1
• enter information about the items you have received that will allow you to track the status of orders, including what has been received, overages,underages and damaged items
• view and download a wide variety of reports.

Each school has the capability to departmentalize their orders. This allows you to enter and track your order for each item by department with the system automatically calculating your total school order. You can make it as detailed as you would like, however it will be more time consuming to enter the data.

Surplus Auction: The surplus auction is similar to other on-line auctions but is limited to participating schools. All questions involving the items being auctioned, arrangements for delivery and all agreements related to the auction must be made between the schools buying and selling.

Special Buys: Other coop programs include: licenses, carpeting, custodial program, food program, furnace filters, furniture, lamps, bulbs and ballasts, portable buildings, printer cartridges, Rosetta Stone Language Learning System, roofing, technology products, office products, and cars, trucks and vans.
