ESU #1 Tower School

The ESU #1 Tower School provides services to students through two special programs.

The Severe/Profound program is designed to meet the educational, emotional, social, and physical needs of students in the six county area who have been diagnosed as Mentally Handicapped: Severe/Profound.

The B/D program is designed to teach students appropriate behavior required to function positively within society. Students working in a structured environment with a small student-teacher ratio will have greater opportunities to improve academic, social, and vocational skills to help achieve this overall goal. A long range goal of the program is to return the students to their local special education programs as soon as possible.
