This is Bob's eleventh year serving at ESU #1. He was hired as the special education director and for the past four years has served as the administrator.  Bob has spent his entire educational career in Northeast Nebraska working at schools in Hartington, Wayne, and now ESU #1.  His wife, Marlene, currently serves as the superintendent at Norfolk Public Schools. Their son, Brad, and daughter-in-law, Molly live in Wichita, Kansas.  Bob's hobbies include reading, jogging, and boating.  

Stuart grew up in Wakefield and graduated from Wayne State College with a degree in Special Education. His first teaching job was in Rhode Island. After living there for almost ten years, Stuart and his family moved back to Wakefield to be near family. Before accepting the position of Director of Special Education, Stuart served ESU #1 as the Head BD Teacher at Tower School in Wayne. Stuart is honored and humbled to be part of the administrative team at one of the most respected educational entities in Nebraska.

Lisa has been serving as Office Manager of ESU #1 since May of 1982. Lisa grew up in central Nebraska and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and her graduate degree from Wayne State College. She enjoys assisting staff in whatever areas she can and meeting the everyday challenges of her job. ESU #1 is truly a great place to work and grow professionally!
